Updates
Let's see I've been gone for some time yet again. We shall call it Lost in Translation shall we. Haha.
4 July - 6 July
Went on Superstar Virgo with baby. Oh my, cost a bomb but it's worth every cent. It's not called a leisure cruise holiday for nothing. Paid for balcony class and enjoyed every bit of the preferred treatment. I wouldn't mind going for yet another cruise. But I doubt I'll have the time to go for one once my work starts. I've been wanting to blog about the trip, every single precious bit of it. But somehow I can't seem to manage to get the pics from baby's com. So too bad, gotta refer to her blog for memories.

Was on cruise when Setclear sent me an invitation to a social drinks night. I was glad that I managed to confirm my attendance in time. It was really a nerve-wrecking experience for me. Setclear was new, thus the social drinks night, to allow us to mingle ard to know our new colleagues and bosses. I clashed top with one of the female manager. Zzzz. I bet I made an impression with her even without introducing myself. SUCKS. Chances are like 1 to 1000 and I struck "lottery". First social drinks 'networking' night in my life, I believe I did ok. Because I was invited to join for dinner after that. And even for a mahjong session. Was quite glad that people at Setclear all seem outgoing, BUT I'll never know until I know.

YS treated me to Minori's jap buffet at UE Square. Really great place for japanese buffet if you love sashimi. Never mind that the maguro are not otoro, they're fresh and great anyway. The fish is so fresh, it's as though the chefs just caught them. Had a great after-meal walk and chat with my best buddy. Hmm sort of miss him and I hope he has a safe trip on this coming friday.
15 July
Went shopping with YS in e morning. He needed to shop urgently for serious matters LOL. Met baby for recipe selection at Orchard library thereafter. She had intention to bake me a cake.
16 July
Chocolate cake failed to raise. Despite the self-raising flour and all.... But I thought it tasted nice nonetheless, although most of the family (except her bro) dared to venture their teeth into the dark looking piece of chocolate cake.
17 July
Yeah!! BIRTHDAY! Watched movie. (Marigold Peelfresh has a great promotion now) For 2.25 bucks a pack. U get 1 buck off any current movie. And you get to claim for a free movie voucher that lasts till around Nov. Besides that, you get a chance to enter a draw! Lobang introduced by best buddy YS. Lol. Been promoting it around.
18 July
Joyce of CLSA just sent me a whole loads of form to fill. Goodness me. Stressed. WORK WORK. Work is starting soon! OMG. Everyone seemed to have experience. Haiz. Think I'll have to go down tmr to hand in the forms.
I need to find a way to "rubberize" my bio-clock soon. Can't wait for work to start. I have a whole savings plan worked out.
I want to get the citibank SMRT card. It seems to be the working person's concession card. I need more details. I want to get UOB signature card. But then again, I don't want so many cards.
I want to buy a flat and rent it out.
I hope I can perform well in my job. From what the COO says, everyone's performance will be clearly reflected by the computer system. And that eliminates biasness from superiors. Goodness AND THAT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME. But nonetheless, CHONG CHONG CHONG!!!
I have great dreams.. It's about time I move towards them step by step, inch by inch

CRUISE!
Ho ho ho~ I am going away on 4th of July! INDEPENDENCE DAY~ nay. Why would I celebrate Independence Day. Cruise Cruise Cruise~~ La la la~
Brought Jovin to the carnival on Sunday! Hahaha she was overjoyed! Tail wagging non stop! lol. Love her to the max. Saw so many other dogs there. Omg the demo dogs were so obedient I wonder how they train them. I saw one of the owner dragged and slammed his beagle. So poor thing. If Jovin needs to be slammed to be trained, I rather not let Jovin be of extreme obedience. She is great as she is now. Energetic and cute.
List of tricks: Sit, Down, Up (Stand on 2 legs), Shake hand, Other hand, Hi-five, Stay, Come, Guess food in which hand.
Trying to teach: Bang!

EVEN the MAMA shop owner downstairs told me that everything in his store had a price hike. -.-''' PREDICTION OF THE DAY: Next to rise... TRANSPORT PRICES. MOVIES. Why? Cause there is no better time to stab us hard than NOW. Now is the time to KILL KILL KILL!
Yeah Yeah.. Kill us normal citizens of Singapore. Let us remain in poverty, for our only savings will eventually be that of CPF's. Eventually prices will increase till we eat bread and butter for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then even more eventually only bread and tap water. Then alas, left with only brunch and dinner.
GST Package, Why is it called a package? Coz for a chance of getting 100-400 dollars, YOU GET TO PAY MUCH HIGHER FOR A WHOLE RANGE OF PRODUCTS. Small prints.. zzzz
Quality ain't getting better. McDonald's pissed me off today. Totally! The seperate "collection" & "order" queues system were so messy! Just because they want to save cost on wasted "waiting" burgers. They implemented such a lousy system. HELLO~ I wondered if the boss ate at any MOS burger restaurants.
Imagine, you queued for 10mins at the "collection" queue. YAY~ Reached the end of the queue. "Sorry this is for collections, that's for ordering" Okie.... Okie... Control... Queue. Queue. Queue. YAY! Order!! eh... okie.. Back to Collections. Hmmm... "Sorry could you collect your McFlurry from the dessert counter?" Zzz... Dessert counter... WHAT! ONE MORE QUEUE.
HEY! IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE FAST FOOD! Kaoz. Really dumb to the MAX! I mean if you want to seperate into a factory processing style of service, at least put overhead signs to say what queue it is. Haiz. WORLD CLASS SERVICE. I tell you, I see it no where. NO WHERE! McDonald's Nayz~ SBS NAYS~ NO WHERE.
