STUPID HDB! What's the point of replying me.......

I love it how she crapped everything from the website and tells me to refer to it again at the end... WTF.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi Alisa,

Thank you for your informative mail which I can easily get from the HDB website.

1) Why is your email started with number 2? Is this a standard mail you send out to the countless of legitimate Singaporeans who are applying for a flat?
2) I applied for every chance there is since I decided to get married and help play my part to ameliorate the aging situation in Singapore. Every application is SGD 10… How many more SGD10 does HDB expects me to pay before I can get a flat?
3) HDB should easily have access to demand statistics. Given the 4 to 1, 5 to 1 ratio of application, can’t HDB look into releasing more projects at a time? Of course I stopped applying for more projects… yet another S$10 to contribute to incompetency.
4) And I don’t need you to tell me about the appointment…. I don’t need to tell you how many available units you have, you should know. And you should know my queue no. as well. So what is the point of saying “Whether you will be able to select a unit will depend on the availability of the flat and ethnic quota when your turn is due. Details of the flat selection appointment will be sent to you via a separate letter.”

And we might consider resale if Dawson’s queue no. is just as bad. Thank you for letting me know my options.

Gong Xi Fa Cai.

Have a nice day.

Dear Mr Heng

APPLICATION TO BUY A FLAT

We refer to your email.

2 You have applied to buy a flat from HDB five times. Of the five flat applications, three were to buy a new flat under the Build-To-Order (BTO) system in the non-mature estates. The rest of the applications were for other sales exercises, including the Dec 2009 BTO exercise to buy a flat in a mature estate at Dawson. As such flats are limited in supply and very high in demand, the chances of securing a flat are very slim.

3 Your chances of getting a new flat will be much better if you continue to participate in BTO exercises in the non-mature estates, which is HDB’s main supply of new flats. HDB has just launched two projects, ie Punggol Crest (Punggol) and Treegrove@Woodlands under the Feb 2010 BTO exercise. If you are interested in the flats offered, you may send in an application online via our InfoWEB at www.hdb.gov.sg before the closing date of 24 Feb 2010.

4 Your selection appointment for a 4-room flat in Punggol under the Nov 2009 BTO exercise is scheduled on 28 Mar 2010 at 11:30am. Whether you will be able to select a unit will depend on the availability of the flat and ethnic quota when your turn is due. Details of the flat selection appointment will be sent to you via a separate letter. You will be informed of the ballot result for your flat application under the Dec 2009 BTO exercise at Dawson (Queenstown) by end Feb 2010.

5 If you need a flat urgently, you may consider buying a resale flat from the open market. As you and your fiancee are first-timers, you may also apply for the CPF Housing Grant and the Additional CPF Housing Grant Scheme in your purchase of the resale flat, if you meet the respective eligibility conditions. You can refer to our HDB InfoWEB at www.hdb.gov.sg for more information on these two schemes.

Yours sincerely
